A little help with your reminders.
Most reminder settings live in the app. Notification permission and presentation remain under your control in iOS Settings.
Common questions
How do I turn reminders on?
Open the app, read the notification explanation, then tap Enable Notifications and allow notifications in the iOS prompt. Set your quiet hours and sound preference; they save automatically.
I declined permission. How do I change that?
Tap iOS Notification Settings in the app. You can also open Settings → Notifications → 見字飲水 and turn on Allow Notifications. If a link opens the main Settings screen, follow that path manually. The app will not keep asking you for permission.
Why did a reminder not appear or make a sound?
Check that the hour is outside your quiet period and that notifications are allowed. In iOS Settings, review alert locations, sounds, Focus, and Scheduled Summary. Silent mode and your sound settings can affect audible alerts.
The app schedules reminders for full hours; iOS decides how and when they are presented. Open the app after changing notification settings so its status can refresh.
Exactly how do quiet hours work?
The start time is quiet; the end time is allowed. With 23:00–08:00, reminders run from 08:00 through 22:00. With 22:30–07:30, the first allowed full hour is 08:00. A quiet period can cross midnight.
Setting both times to the same time means no quiet period: reminders can run every full hour. A period that covers every full hour leaves no reminders scheduled.
Must I keep the app open?
No. Reminders use repeating local iOS notifications, without a server or daily refresh. You do not need to open the app every day. Delivery still follows iOS notification settings and system behavior.
Can I choose a separate vibration setting?
The app does not offer an independent vibration control. Sound, haptics, banners, and Lock Screen presentation depend on the controls available in your iPhone’s system settings.
How do I change the language?
Choose the app’s preferred language in iOS Settings when that option is available, then open the app again. Reminders are updated to use the app’s selected language. Your region can remain different for date and time formatting.
Are there accounts, charges, ads, or drinking records?
No. There is no account, subscription, in-app purchase, advertising, drinking history, or water-consumption tracking. Preferences stay on your device.
How do I reset or remove my settings?
Change quiet hours and sound directly in the app, or delete the app to remove its local data and reminders. Offloading may keep app data. Apple controls backups, transfers, and restoration.
I am using a TestFlight version. Is that different?
Apple’s TestFlight service collects beta usage and crash information and shares it with the developer; submitted feedback can also be shared. This is separate from the app’s own implementation, which contains no analytics or crash-reporting SDK.
